Can I choose to have the lock alarmed or not alarmed?
Yes, when you're locking the padlock you can slide the pin into place normally and it will set the alarm to ON, you'll hear two beeps. If instead, you push the pin in slowly you'll hear two beeps and the alarm will be deactivated until you next lock the padlock.

On and off alarm modes
To set the alarm to On: Simply push the lock barrel into place, you'll hear one beep as feedback that the alarm is ON
To set the alarm to off: Simply push the lock barrel into place slowly, you'll hear two beeps as feedback that the alarm is OFF
