Stoneguard Compatible Drawbar Cover

Promore Products

This cover fits a range of caravan drawbars because its side panels are zippered. Opening and closing the zips lets one cover adapt to how far your stoneguard sits from the hitch, so it draws in neatly to your setup. Everything you need to fit it comes in the mounting kit, shown below.

How to fit the cover

  1. 1

    Unzip the side panels

Open the zips on both side panels so the cover can spread out over your setup.

Position the cover and secure the nose

Place the nose of the cover over the tow hitch and drape the middle panel over the stoneguard. Do up the underside strap to hold the cover in place.

    Fit the middle-panel hooks

First, screw two hooks to the rear face of the stoneguard, 120cm apart and centred on the drawbar. Then feed a cam buckle strap through each corner eyelet of the centre flap, wrap it around the nearest hook and tighten until the flap sits taut, firm but not overtightened.

    Close the side zips

Zip both side panels closed, either fully, or until the zip reaches the top edge of the stoneguard.

    Secure the side panels (optional)

This step is optional and not required. If you would like a little extra hold, you can fit hooks through the corner eyelets of the side panels.

    Fasten the underside straps

Do up the remaining underside straps. The rearmost strap can be fastened either (A) around the rear of the stoneguard, or (B) underneath the drawbar, whichever suits your setup.

    Final check

The cover should sit firm and taut, but do not overtighten. Overtightening strains the eyelets and seams. That is it, you are done.
