The Australian-designed Zoleo Global Satellite Communicator is a fantastic commercial and residential solution as a personal locator beacon (PLB) for adventure seekers, grey nomads or remote workers. A must-have accessory for when you explore the vast Australian outback, where days can go by with limited mobile phone connection. The powerful device features two-way communication capabilities using the Iridium satellite network. This functionality allows you to send and receive text messages or emails from anywhere on the globe with the Zoleo messaging app without the need for mobile coverage.

The Zoleo device itself allows you to automatically ping your location to selected contacts on the Zoleo mobile app by simply pressing the check button on your device. In addition, the communicator features a covered SOS button, that sends out your approximate location (to the nearest 2.5m) to emergency services. For peace of mind, the device will send out an SOS and ping your location to your selected contacts even without your phone.

If an emergency occurs and you have access to your mobile device, the free Zoleo app allows you to send an SOS straight from your phone allowing you to establish a two-way connection with emergency services. In addition, you are able to keep your loved ones updated with your adventures with the ability to send up to 950 character messages. The app also gives you access to weather data, the ability to add contacts, receive non-emergency medical advice and much more. When it's available the app will automatically use your mobile data or wifi to save your satellite data.

The Zoleo has a durable rubber exterior with an IP68 rating meaning it is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof, what's more, it has 200+ hours of battery life making it perfect for hiking enthusiasts, caravans, trail runners and everything in between.
