Keep the weather off your hitch and gas bottles
Sun, rain and salt air hit the front of your van harder than anywhere else. This tough cover shields the hitch, coupling, jockey wheel and gas bottles whenever you are parked, from an overnight stop to winter storage.
Got a stoneguard on your drawbar? This cover is shaped for drawbars without one. Grab the Stone Guard Compatible cover instead.

Same van, same spot. Cover off, then cover on.
Plugs, hitch and bottles out in the weather.
Everything tucked under one tough cover.
One cover, the whole front end

Hitch, coupling, tow plugs, jockey wheel and gas bottles, all under one cover.
On in minutes, on your own
Drape it over the coupling
Pull it back over the bottles
Clip and tension the straps
Done. Off again before you tow
Measure once, pick your size
Run a tape from the coupling to the back of your gas bottles. That number picks your size.
100cm to 140cm takes the Large. 140cm to 180cm takes the XL.

Measure from the coupling to the back of the last thing you want covered.
Longer than 180cm, or something extra on the drawbar? Email a photo to sales@caravanmods.com.au and we will point you the right way.
Built to live out the front
Fully waterproof PVC
500gsm, not canvas
UV stable
Keeps sun off your plugs
Open underside
Air moves through
Straps underneath
Underside and rear

Fully waterproof. 500gsm PVC coated fabric sheds rain completely. Not canvas, so no soaking up water or mould.

Open underside. Air moves through, so plugs and connections never sit damp and corrode.
UV stable too, so your tow plugs are not cooking in the sun.
Lock it to the van

Webbing loops underneath take a cable lock, so the cover stays put as a theft and vandalism deterrent. Want one? Choose the 1.2m cable lock as an optional add on when you pick your size.

Common questions
What size cover do I need?
Measure along the drawbar from the coupling, the part that sits on the towball, to the back of the last thing you want covered, usually the back of your gas bottles. A run of 100cm to 140cm takes the Large and 140cm to 180cm takes the XL. If your run is longer than 180cm, get in touch and we will help.
What if I have a toolbox, bike rack or electric jack on the drawbar?
This cover is made for the hitch, coupling, jockey wheel and gas bottles, and it will not fit over a toolbox on the drawbar. If you have something else mounted, like a bike rack or a large electric trailer jack, email a photo and your measurements to sales@caravanmods.com.au. We will confirm the right cover before you order.
I have a stoneguard. Will this cover fit?
No, this cover is shaped for drawbars without a stoneguard. For a drawbar with a stoneguard, choose our Stone Guard Compatible Drawbar Hitch Cover, which attaches to the stoneguard and covers the run between it and the hitch.
Will it cover my gas bottles?
Yes. It covers the hitch, coupling and jockey wheel right through to and including the gas bottles on your drawbar.
Is it actually waterproof, or just water resistant?
It is fully waterproof. The 500gsm PVC coated fabric is also highly UV resistant and sheds water completely. Unlike canvas, it does not soak up moisture, so it dries fast and will not grow mould on the cover or your hitch.
Why is the underside open?
It is open on purpose so air can move through and stop moisture building up on the drawbar and electrical connections, which is what leads to rust and corroded plugs. The cover is cut long enough to keep the hitch dry in driving rain.
Can I leave the cover on while towing?
No, take it off before you tow. It is made to protect the drawbar whenever the van is parked, from an overnight stop to long term storage. Left on at highway speeds it can flap, wear and work loose.
How do I secure the cover?
Straps on the underside and rear tension the cover and hold it down. Webbing loops underneath let you thread a cable lock through and secure the cover back to the van as a theft and vandalism deterrent. You can add our 1.2m cable lock as an optional add on when you pick your size.
