Questions we get asked
What's in the Getaway Kit?
The Promore Products Portable Vacuum Sealer, 2 sealing clips, a USB-C charging cable and an instruction manual, plus 30 Promore Products resealable vacuum bags: 12 Small, 12 Medium and 6 Large.
What sizes are the bags?
Small is 21 x 22 cm, Medium is 26 x 28 cm and Large is 26 x 34 cm. XL bags (30 x 34 cm) are also sold separately if you want a bigger size.
Can the bags go in the dishwasher?
No. Dishwasher heat and drying cycles break down the bag material and can damage the valve. Wash them by hand in warm soapy water, rinse, then stand them up to air dry. Bags used for raw meat or fish are better retired than reused for anything else.
How many seals do I get per charge?
Around 100 seals on a full charge. It charges over USB-C, so a power bank, a 12V socket or the USB outlets already fitted in your van will all do the job. No inverter and no 240V needed.
