Questions we get asked
What's in the Weekender Kit?
The Promore Products Portable Vacuum Sealer, 2 sealing clips, a USB-C charging cable and an instruction manual, plus 6 Small Promore Products resealable vacuum bags (21 x 22 cm).
Can I add bigger bags later?
Yes. Medium (26 x 28 cm), Large (26 x 34 cm) and XL (30 x 34 cm) Promore Products bags are also sold separately, so topping up later is easy.
How do I charge it away from mains power?
Around 100 seals on a full charge. It charges over USB-C, so a power bank, a 12V socket or the USB outlets already fitted in your van will all do the job. No inverter and no 240V needed.
Can the bags go in the dishwasher?
No. Dishwasher heat and drying cycles break down the bag material and can damage the valve. Wash them by hand in warm soapy water, rinse, then stand them up to air dry. Bags used for raw meat or fish are better retired than reused for anything else.
