Clamp the pole to the van
Fit it in your mount. The Promore Products Caravan Drawbar Mount suits 50mm and 60mm drawbars.
Extend and rest the foot
Extend the three telescopic sections, flip each quick release clamp to lock it, then lower the pole until the rubber foot rests on the ground.

Do I need to buy an extra adapter?
No. Your dish mounts to the pole with the genuine Starlink pole adapter that came in the box with your Starlink. The Gen 3 and Mini adapters have a sleeve that fits over the end of the pole, and the Gen 2 adapter sits inside the pole.
How tall does the pole go?
It is 1.24m collapsed and extends to 4.04m. That is enough to lift your dish up and over the caravan, awning and surrounding trees at most sites.
How heavy is it?
The pole weighs 1.5kg, so it is comfortable to lift and extend on your own, even with the dish already fitted.
How does the pole extend and lock?
The pole has four sections, three of them telescopic. Each section has an easy to use quick release clamp. Pull the section out and flip its clamp closed to lock it in place.
What does the rubber foot do?
Lower the pole until the foot rests on the ground. The pole is then supported at both ends instead of hanging off the clamp alone, which takes weight off your mount and steadies the dish in a breeze.
Do I need a mount as well?
Yes, the pole needs something to clamp it to the van. Choose the Pole and Drawbar Mount kit to get both, or buy the pole on its own if you already have a mount.
Will the pole rust?
No. It is made from black anodised aluminium, which will not rust, and there is no paint or coating to chip off.
